SET of 4 - SUSAN B. ANTHONY Proof US dollars - PCGS PR69 DCAM.
This 4 coin set contains the Susan B. Anthony (SBA) United States Dollar Proof coins from 1979, 1980, 1981, and 1999. Each coin is in mint proof PR69 DCAM coins condition and is PCGS graded - slabbed as such.
Susan B. Anthony design US dollars were produced in 1979, 1980, 1981, (and again in 1999 when the government ran low on dollar coins).
The U.S. government mints at Philadephia (P mint mark) and Denver (D mint mark) produced general coins for circulation. However proof coins were sold to collectors at a premium. "S" mint coins were made at the San Francisco mint during the first 1979s, 1980s, and 1981s. Consequently the number of proofs produced is much less than the P or D circulation mint marks.
In 1979-S and 1981-S the mint produced two varieties of S mint marks, Type 1 and Type 2 coins. Type 1 coins are included in this set. Type 2 coins are much scarcer and carry a high premium.
These SBA dollar coins are graded PR-69 DCAM by PCGS (Professional Coin Grading Service). Even some proof coins from the US government Mint will have microscopic flaws keeping them from meeting this strict PR69 DCAM grade. The term DCAM means that the coin has a "deep cameo" mirror-like surface and is exceptionally nice.
These SBA dollar sets have been graded, certified as genuine, encased in a tamper resistant holder, and assigned their own unique serial numbers. Quantities are very limited. Satisfaction Guaranteed !
